Want to learn more about PRF and how it can help you? Give us a call or book directly online.

Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF) treatments

A completely natural alternative to chemical treatments, platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) uses your body’s own blood components to rejuvenate areas prone to early aging visibility. PRF is harvested using a slow-speed centrifuge, retaining more stem cells, fibrin, and white blood cells than PRP.

We can use PRF as filler, as targeted healing injections, as a serum in your SkinPen treatment and more!

Perfect for tear troughs and eliminating under eye darkening.

What is PRF?

PRF stands for platelet-rich fibrin. PRF is a byproduct of blood that is exceptionally rich in platelets. These platelets release growth factors that stimulate stem cells. These stem cells are a powerhouse and present a variety of treatment options for you. Compared to PRP, PRF injections release growth factors more slowly than PRP, resulting in a longer-lasting effect.

Using your own blood, we can:

  • accelerate healing

  • reduce infection risk

  • awaken mesenchymal cells

  • restore skin

  • assist in autoimmune skin disorders, like psoriasis

  • assist in hair restoration

  • improve and restore hair loss from androgenic alopecia, polycystic ovarian syndrome, and male pattern baldness

  • improve acne scarring (excellent results when used in combination with microneedling)

  • improve joint and bone restoration

  • improve “allergic shiners” ie: darkening of eyes

What is PRP?

PRP stands for platelet rich plasma. PRP is also a byproduct of blood that is exceptionally rich in platelets. PRP is similar to PRF, but PRP does not have as many white blood cells as PRF and does not contain a fibrin sheath. When we spin PRP, we use an anti-coagulant. PRP does not have mesenchymal stem cells like PRF.
